Ted, being the original character he is, charmed and negotiated his way around the Midwest, the Northeast, and throughout the Central and
Southern American states, buying and selling Classic Cars in the only way he knows how: by haggling and wheeling and dealing.
With over 40 years in the industry, Ted is a well-known personality in the trade. People stop to talk, invite him in for coffee, and often try to sell him over-priced cars for a retail number, always leaving with a joke or a punch line.

He believes you make the money on the buy, and that’s what he does every day. In Season 4, the show takes him all over the United States and into unfamiliar territory in search of the perfect deal. Behind Ted, back in the shop, is his trusty manager, Marcus, who makes sure the day-to-day running of the shop is smooth and without drama.
